Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Poorit Technologies LLP, we strive to provide high-quality training programs and services. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations.

1. Program Cancellation by Student

1.1 Before Program Commencement

• More than 15 days before start: Full refund minus administrative fee of ₹2,000
• 7-15 days before start: 75% refund of program fee
• Less than 7 days before start: 50% refund of program fee

1.2 After Program Commencement

• Within first week: 50% refund of remaining program fee
• After first week: No refund applicable

2. Program Cancellation by Poorit Technologies

In the rare event that Poorit Technologies cancels a program due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, students will receive:

• 100% full refund of all fees paid, OR
• Option to transfer to another batch or program of equal or lesser value
• Notification at least 7 days before the scheduled start date

3. Medical or Emergency Withdrawal

In case of medical emergencies or exceptional circumstances:

• Students must provide valid documentation (medical certificate, etc.)
• Case-by-case evaluation by Poorit Technologies management
• Possible options: partial refund, program deferral, or credit towards future programs

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

• Application and registration fees
• Certification fees (if already processed)
• Third-party examination fees
• Physical materials or kits already shipped
• Access to digital resources already downloaded or accessed

5. Refund Processing

5.1 Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

• Submit a written request to prerit@poorit.in
• Include enrollment details, reason for cancellation, and payment proof
• Requests will be reviewed within 5 business days

5.2 Refund Timeline

• Approved refunds will be processed within 15-20 business days
• Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
• Bank processing times may vary (5-7 business days additional)

6. Program Transfer or Deferral

Instead of cancellation, students may opt for:

• Batch Transfer: Move to a different batch of the same program (subject to availability, one-time only)
• Program Deferral: Defer enrollment to the next available batch within 6 months
• Program Switch: Transfer to a different program (subject to price difference and approval)

7. Partial Withdrawals and Module Refunds

For modular programs or add-on courses, refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis for unused modules, subject to the cancellation timeline mentioned in Section 1.

8. Force Majeure

In case of events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions), Poorit Technologies reserves the right to modify the refund policy. In such cases, we will work with students to find fair solutions, including online alternatives or program deferrals.

9. Dismissal for Misconduct

Students dismissed from programs due to violations of our Code of Conduct (plagiarism, harassment, disruptive behavior) are not eligible for any refunds.

10. Installment Payment Plans

For students on installment plans:

• Refund calculations are based on total program fee, not installments paid
• Any pending installments may be adjusted against refund amount
• Early cancellation may require settlement of outstanding installments

11. Institutional and Corporate Programs

Refund policies for institutional partnerships and corporate training programs are governed by separate agreements and contracts. Please refer to your specific contract for refund terms.

12. Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate the matter to our management team at prerit@poorit.in. All disputes will be handled in accordance with our Terms and Conditions and applicable Indian laws.
